Can't believe Ramadan is here. We posted this article a year ago on our social media, and thought why not re-post it and put it on our blog?
The holy month is seen as a time to practice self-control, self discipline, sacrifice, and empathy for those less fortunate. But we're here to discuss on the nutrition wise which include tips and tricks to achieve good nutrition during Ramadan.
As you all might know, by following simple guidelines, fasting may help you lose weight and decrease blood pressure and lower bad cholesterol. Alternatively, over-indulging at Iftar (breaking the fast) and Sahur (pre-dawn meal) can cause weight gain. So here's something you should keep in mind during Ramadan.
